I was raised in a Jewish home with a secular father and a mother who was reared in an orthodox household. As a result of this conflict there was a level of religious ambivalence in our home as I was growing up.
I first became involved in Religious Science in 1962 when my father and step-mother (who were married in a Religious Science church in Denver in 1958) took me to the Hollywood Church of Religious Science. In my many years in Religious Science I have attended many different churches and held membership in churches in Hollywood, CA, Redondo Beach, CA, Las Vegas and San Diego.
I have served in many capacities in quite a few different Religious Science Churches. At Vision’s immediate predecessor, Pacific Church, I served on the Board of Trustees, was a class assistant for many different classes, was a greeter and ushered. In addition to being a Practitioner here at Vision, I act as a greeter, usher, bowl ringer and head the collection team to mention just a few areas where I serve.
